The game takes place on Mars. Players are a group of space colonists that traveled to Mars to establish the first colony.
In the beginning, everything went well. Colonists managed to build several living modules for the colonists to live in, and a large farm module for the food supply of the colony.
Everything went according to plan until an outbreak of an unknown virus hit the young colony. The mission control on Earth decided to play it safe and ordered a complete lockdown. All the colonists are locked in their rooms in each of the four living modules.
The only way to communicate between the rooms is through your hand-held terminals.
Now, it is up to the players to survive the outbreak of the virus, eating what little food can be provided by the farm module. To make things worse, there is no communication between the living modules (yet). Each colonist can only communicate with the inhabitants of their module.
